A favourite place for me to eat in Clapham is Bodean's. It's a BBQ joint. As you enter your are hit by the smell of smoky meat. It seems like everything gets the BBQ treatment and that is ok with me. Bodean's offers good value for money but for me what is disappointing, at times is the lack of consistency with the food and the service. I have had great service but then the food has been a small portion and the meat very dry. Then on another visit the service was inattentive but the food was melt in the mouth. So when visiting you never know what it is going to be like. If it was possible to choose I would take better food than the service but why can we not have both?
